We are delighted to announce the winner of our Spring Photography Competition 2021
Congratulations to Anna Parker with “Grow Your Own in Lockdown.”
“We picked up an acorn in the winter and popped it in the acorn vase at the start of the winter lockdown, by spring and the recent end of lockdown this is how well it was doing (better than the humans!). ”
The judging
We asked our MP, Steve Brine, to select the winning entry from the three previously announced category winners.

Steve said that it was a difficult choice between the three category winners, but he felt that Anna’s photo really summed up where we are as a nation at the moment - just about to find our freedom after such a long period of Covid restrictions.
We agree that Anna’s photo symbolises hope and growth as we look forward to better times.
We will be launching our Autumn photography competition later in the summer.
