Dever Society joins with CPRE and SSWCG to reject new towns in Winchester district

The Dever Society has teamed up with Save South Winchester Campaign Group (SSWCG) and CPRE Hampshire to urge Winchester City Council to reject building new towns in their new Local Plan.

New towns are one of four options being consulted on for achieving the housing numbers Winchester needs to build across the district by 2038. The joint statement outlines some of the reasons why the three groups believe that new towns are the wrong option for Winchester district and should be rejected by the City Council.
