Dever Society AGM 2023

A full hall at the Warren Centre on 23 May heard Cllr Jackie Porter, the councillor in charge of Winchester’s Local Plan process, and Cllr Martin Tod, the Leader of Winchester City Council, make it crystal clear that they did not support a new town at Micheldever and that it would not be included in the new Local Plan. They stressed that contrary to what the developer states, this is the wrong location for a large housing development. There was an interesting question and answer session after their talk, and we are very grateful to the two councillors for attending the AGM and spending so much time with members.
